A versatile upholstery fabric with a three-dimensional appearance, Fiord 2 cleverly merges a mélange yarn with a unicoloured yarn. Inspired by the moonlight casting a pearlescent glow on the rippling waters of a Norwegian fjord, its refined expression results in pearl-like dots that dance across the fabric's surface.
The mélange yarn gives it a depth you don't usually see in upholstery, and it's surprisingly soft to the touch. I went with this for a reading chair and the subtle texture makes the whole room feel more interesting.
