A structured and durable worsted wool upholstery fabric ideal for expansive surfaces, Canvas 2 features a subtle weave comprised of three melange yarns for colour richness and texture. While appearing as a serene, unicoloured textile from a distance, upon closer inspection it reveals six colour nuances.
The subtle weave with three melange yarns gives this fabric real depth—it looks much more expensive than it is. I reupholstered a sofa with it and the worsted wool feels sturdy but not scratchy at all. Exactly the clean, structured look I wanted.
Installed this on a large ottoman and the subtle weave adds just enough texture without being overpowering. It’s held up well to daily use so far, and the color depth from those melange yarns is really nice.
