A structured and durable worsted wool upholstery fabric ideal for expansive surfaces, Canvas 2 features a subtle weave comprised of three mélange yarns for color richness and texture. While appearing as a serene, unicolored textile from a distance, upon closer inspection it reveals six color nuances.
The fabric has held up beautifully on our large sofa, and the subtle weave hides lint and pet hair surprisingly well. It feels substantial without being too stiff, which is exactly what we needed for a high-traffic living room.
The three-mélange yarn weave gives it a depth of color that photographs beautifully, and the fabric is stiff enough to hold its shape on large sofa panels.
I’ve been using this wool to reupholster a large armchair, and the subtle mélange weave gives it a much richer texture than I expected. It’s sturdy enough for daily use but still feels soft under the hand.
