1935년 플레밍 라센(Flemming Lassen)이 디자인하고 같은 해 코펜하겐 캐비닛메이커 길드 전시회에서 처음 선보인 티어드 맨은 조각 같은 유선형의 형태와 아늑한 날개형 등받이가 특징입니다. 1930년대 미학을 상징하면서도 볼륨감과 미니멀리즘을 겸비한 이 체어는 탄생 90년이 지난 지금까지도 덴마크 디자인의 아이콘으로 사랑받으며, 세대를 초월한 가보로 자리 잡았습니다.
The dark stained oak frame feels even richer in person, and the modern upholstery gives it a clean look that fits my living room perfectly. I’ve already fallen asleep in it twice this week—it’s that comfortable.
The chaise section is what sold me—I can stretch out fully and still have the oak frame grounding the whole thing visually. Upholstery feels substantial without being stiff, and assembly took under twenty minutes solo.
