원래 Model 9으로 불렸던 Oda Chair는 처음부터 야심 찬 디자인이었습니다. Arnold Madsen이 1956년경에 제작한 이 안락의자의 미학적 재해석은 말발굽 형태의 복잡한 구조에 통합형 헤드레스트와 목재로 아름답게 제작된 팔걸이가 특징입니다. 편안한 지지력을 제공하는 감싸는 디자인은 처음에 Nanna Ditzel의 작품으로 오인되었으나, 2020년에 올바르게 Madsen의 작품으로 인정받았습니다. 원본 디자인의 도면이 없어 빈티지 버전을 기준으로 제작된 Oda Chair는 정교한 직물 마감에서 드러나는 뛰어난 장인 정신을 보여줍니다. 내추럴 오크 또는 월넛 소재의 다리로 제공됩니다.
I was a bit nervous buying a chair online without sitting in it first, but the horseshoe-shaped frame gives such a solid, enveloping feel that I forgot my hesitation within minutes. The Hallingdal fabric has a lovely, nubby texture that feels both sturdy and cozy for long reading sessions.
The walnut grain on the arms is stunning in person, and the way the curved back wraps around you makes it feel far more supportive than I expected from a 1950s design. It took me two days to stop walking past it just to run my hand along that horseshoe shape.
The horseshoe frame isn't just a design quirk—it actually cradles you from both sides, so I find myself sinking into it for hours without wanting to get up. The Hallingdal wool has a dry, woven texture that feels substantial but never scratchy, even in summer.
