Le Base a été conçu en 2009 comme accessoire pour Kubus et Line afin de protéger les surfaces des gouttes de cire. Le Base encadre magnifiquement les bougeoirs et met en valeur le design simple de Kubus et Line. Il a été conçu avec le plus grand respect pour l'architecte Mogens Lassen, à la fois en tant qu'architecte et designer.

I was worried the base would look clunky under the candle holder, but it's actually quite elegant and frames it perfectly. The tray lip is just deep enough that the melted wax pools neatly instead of spilling over the edge, and it's easy to wipe clean after each burn.
The wax drips land right in the tray instead of staining my table, which is exactly what I needed for my Kubus. It’s sleek enough that it doesn’t take away from the holder itself, just gives it a clean frame.
