La base fue diseñada en 2009 como un accesorio para Kubus y Line para proteger las superficies de la cera derretida de las velas. La base enmarca maravillosamente los portavelas y resalta el diseño sencillo tanto de Kubus como de Line. La base ha sido diseñada con el máximo respeto por el arquitecto Mogens Lassen, tanto como arquitecto como diseñador.
