Base byl navržen v roce 2009 jako doplněk ke Kubus a Line, který chrání povrchy před kapajícím voskem ze svíček. Base krásně rámuje svícny a zdůrazňuje jednoduchý design jak Kubus, tak Line. Base byl navržen s největším respektem k architektu Mogensi Lassenovi, a to jak jako architekt, tak jako designér.
