The solid brass band is what sold me—it catches the light just right and gives the whole lamp a sculptural feel against the wall. Took a bit to find a bulb that fit the socket, but once it was up, the crème shade casts such a soft glow.
The crème finish is warmer in person than the photos suggest, and the solid brass band gives it just enough weight to feel premium without being bulky. It took me a few minutes to install since the bracket is a bit fiddly, but once it was up it completely changed the hallway vibe.
The brass band really anchors it to the wall with a solid, weighted feel, and the crème shade casts a warm, soft glow in my hallway. It’s a timeless design that looks like it’s been there for decades, even though I just hung it up yesterday. Just remember to grab a bulb beforehand.
