The polished brass catches the light beautifully from across the room, and the simple 1950s silhouette fits perfectly over our dining table. We paired it with a warm LED bulb and it instantly gave the space that mid-century feel I was after.

The polished brass finish gives off a warm, almost honeyed glow even before the bulb is in—it’s pure mid-century charm. I’d read it was designed in the 1950s, and you can really feel that timeless simplicity when it’s hanging in the room. Two weeks in, still my favorite corner of the house.
