Basen designades 2009 som ett tillbehör till Kubus och Line för att skydda ytor från droppande stearin. Basen ramar vackert in ljusstakarna och framhäver den enkla designen hos både Kubus och Line. Basen har utformats med största respekt för arkitekten Mogens Lassen, både som arkitekt och formgivare.
