A Ingeborg foi originalmente desenhada em 1940 por Flemming Lassen. A cadeira foi desenhada pelo mestre carpinteiro Jakob Kjær, que fabricou os móveis de Flemming Lassen para a Exposição Anual de Mobiliário dos Carpinteiros.

Esta encantadora poltrona de pequenas dimensões recebeu o nome da mãe de Flemming e Mogens Lassen, a artista Ingeborg Winding. A Ingeborg é a combinação perfeita para o novo sofá, chamado Vilhelm. O sofá foi batizado em homenagem ao pai dos irmãos, Hans Vilhelm Lassen, que era artista decorativo. É uma bela reunião de Vilhelm e Ingeborg.
