A base foi concebida em 2009 como um acessório para Kubus e Line, para proteger as superfícies de gotas de cera de vela. A base emoldura lindamente os castiçais e realça o design simples tanto do Kubus como do Line. A base foi desenhada com o maior respeito pelo arquiteto Mogens Lassen, tanto como arquiteto como designer.
The wax drips land right in the tray instead of staining my table, and the frame gives the whole setup a cleaner silhouette than I expected. It's minimal but does its job perfectly, and the height sits just right under the candleholder.
The sleek frame does exactly what it promises—no more wiping melted wax off my table during candlelit dinners. I love how it visually completes the holder without overpowering it, and the fit is precise right out of the box.
The drip tray fits perfectly under my Kubus and catches every bit of wax, so I don't have to scrub my table anymore. It's simple, but the way it frames the holder really makes the whole setup look more intentional.
