The Tired Man was launched at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition in 1935 and has since become an icon of Danish design. The epitome of craftsmanship and comfort, the characteristically curved armchair was designed by Flemming Lassen to feel “as warm and snug as a polar bear cub in the arms of its mother.” Relaunched in 2015, the award-winning design is offered in plush upholstery, including sheepskin in a nod to the original, and with natural or dark-oiled oak heartwood legs and front brass casters for easy movement. A corresponding footstool ensures further comfort.

Olivia ★★★★★

Ever since I sank into this chair after a long shift, I finally understand what "Danish design" really means—that low, curving seat cradles you perfectly, and the sheepskin keeps it cozy without overheating. It's not just furniture; it's my nightly decompression ritual now.

Sophia ★★★☆☆

The sheepskin is genuinely soft and the curved frame looks beautiful in my living room, exactly like the photos. That said, it’s not as deep or reclining as I’d hoped for a chair named “Tired Man”—I end up sitting more upright than I expected, so comfort is good but not amazing for long lounging.
