The grain really pops through this dark stain — you can still feel the wood texture under your fingers, which I didn’t expect from such a deep color. It’s holding up beautifully on my chair arms after a month of daily use, no blotchiness or dull spots yet.

The dark stain on this oak is exactly what I was hoping for—rich and deep without hiding the wood grain underneath. I grabbed it for the Ingeborg collection and the color ties the whole piece together perfectly. The finish feels smooth to the touch and has held up well so far.
