Sokkelen ble designet i 2009 som et tilbehør til Kubus og Line for å beskytte overflater mot dryppende stearinvoks. Sokkelen rammer inn lysestakene på en vakker måte og fremhever det enkle designet til både Kubus og Line. Sokkelen er designet med størst mulig respekt for arkitekten Mogens Lassen, både som arkitekt og som designer.
