참나무 원목, 다크 스테인 마감, 래커

The lacquer layer feels smooth and durable, not sticky at all, which is exactly what I wanted for the corbel shelf in my hallway. I’d say the finish is just slightly more glossy in person than the photos suggested, but it still shows the wood grain beautifully.

The dark stain really brings out the oak grain nicely and the lacquer gives it a smooth, polished feel. I do wish the finish had a bit more depth in person, though it looks better under direct light than in a darker corner. Solid enough for the price, but nothing that blows you away.
