Saw this in a friend’s house and couldn’t stop staring at the way the central band catches the light—it’s got that 1950s Swedish restraint that makes a room feel intentional. Just remember to grab bulbs beforehand, but that’s a small trade-off for something this sculptural.

That central band gives it such a clean, sculptural look from every angle—exactly the mid-century vibe I was after. Took a bit of effort to source bulbs separately, but once lit the whole thing just glows beautifully.

The 1950s silhouette from Alf Svensson gives my dining room a mid-century gravitas that modern fixtures just can't fake, and the central band construction feels incredibly solid once it's hung. I just wish I'd factored in buying bulbs separately before the install day hit.
