The velvet fabric is such a rich, deep color in person, and the foam padding makes sitting through a long dinner actually comfortable. I was a little nervous buying a final sale chair without seeing it, but the steel base feels rock solid and the whole thing looks way more expensive than it was.

The velvet is way plusher in person than the render suggested, and the foam seats are firm enough to sit through a long dinner without sinking. Assembly took maybe ten minutes with the steel base bolts already lined up perfectly.

The steel base gives it a solid, grounded feel that I didn’t expect from a chair in this price range, and the City Velvet fabric is smooth to the touch. It’s held up great over the past few weeks of daily dinners, no wobble or wear yet.
