ウォールナット突板、ラッカー塗装

I was hesitant about veneer versus solid wood, but this lacquered walnut layer looks genuinely rich on my Afteroom chair. The varnish gives it a smooth, almost glass-like feel that’s held up well to daily use so far.

The lacquer really brings out the walnut’s natural grain without feeling plasticky, and the veneer itself is surprisingly smooth to the touch. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and the finish still looks as deep and rich as the day it arrived.
