I wasn’t sure about the low profile at first, but the fully upholstered frame makes it feel like the chair wraps around you. It’s solid enough that I don’t worry about it tipping, yet soft in all the right places for an afternoon of reading.
The deep, low seat really does give that secure, nestling feeling the description promises, and the upholstery feels sturdy so far. Took a few days to get used to how close to the floor it sits, but once you're in, it's very relaxing.
