ダークステイン加工を施したオーク突き板にラッカー塗装を施した仕上げです。コア材の表面に薄いオーク突き板を張り、染色工程を経て木材の自然な色味を変更し、暗い表面を実現しています。その後、ワニスを塗布することで外観を向上させ、保護しています。
The dark stain gives it a richness that works beautifully with the lacquer finish, and it pairs well with the clean lines of the Rail and Epoch collections. I’ve had it on the Co Chair for a few weeks now, and the surface still feels smooth and even under my fingers.
The lacquer really brings out the depth in this dark oak — the finish has a smooth, almost glass-like feel that makes the grain pop beautifully. I keep running my hand along the edge of my new shelving unit just to admire how cleanly it was applied.
