The clean lines and low profile make it feel like a small sculpture in my living room, and the solid wood is finished beautifully. Sitting on it at counter height is actually comfortable for longer than I expected, which surprised me given how minimalist it looks.
Took a chance on this for our kitchen island and the design is even more elegant in person — the clean lines give it that timeless mid-century feel without trying too hard. It’s solid when you sit, and the height works perfectly for our counter.
The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from a piece with 1942 design roots—solid, sturdy, and surprisingly elegant in person. I’ve had it at our kitchen counter for two weeks and it hasn’t wobbled once, even with my kids climbing on it.
