Installed this in our Cast fixture and the light is crisp without that harsh flicker you sometimes get from cheap LED retrofits. Dimmability works smoothly down to a warm glow, and it runs cool even after a few hours on.
The dimming range is what sold me—it goes from a warm cozy glow down to just a soft flicker without any buzzing, which my old bulb never managed. It’s also noticeably energy-efficient; my electricity bill barely moved this month despite using the light every evening.
I swapped out the old bulb in my Cast series fixture and the dimming curve is smooth from bright all the way down to a warm glow, no flicker at any point. Energy use is noticeably lower on my meter, which is a nice bonus for something this small.
