Initialement baptisé Modèle 9, le fauteuil Oda était dès le départ un projet ambitieux. Créé par Arnold Madsen vers 1956, cette réinterprétation esthétique d'un fauteuil de salon présente une structure complexe en forme de fer à cheval, avec un appui-tête intégré et des accoudoirs en bois magnifiquement intégrés. Offrant un soutien confortable, ce design enveloppant a d'abord été attribué – à tort – à Nanna Ditzel. En 2020, il a été officiellement restitué à Madsen. Fabriqué d'après une version vintage, car il n'existe aucun dessin du modèle original, le fauteuil Oda témoigne d'un niveau de savoir-faire exceptionnel, visible dans la complexité de son rembourrage. Disponible avec des pieds en chêne naturel ou en noyer.
