The joinery is what sold me—you can see the traditional Danish craftsmanship in every angle, and it’s rock-solid under weight. The walnut finish has a warm, subtle sheen that makes my kitchen feel more intentional, though it’s definitely a showpiece that needs the right spot.

The solid wood grain on this stool is gorgeous in person, and the traditional joinery gives it a heft that makes it feel like a piece of furniture that will last decades. I’ve had it a week and my kitchen counter finally has the right height and presence.
