Haya maciza, teñida en negro, aceitada

The grain still shows through nicely under that black stain, which gives the wood a lot more character than a flat paint job would. I've run my hand across it a few times and the oiled finish feels smooth and substantial, exactly what I wanted for the ML 42 pieces.

The black stain is deep and even across the wood, and the oiled finish leaves a smooth, natural feel that isn't sticky at all. It really transformed the look of my ML 42 piece, giving it that rich, almost matte elegance I was hoping for.
