Originalmente, Ingeborg fue diseñada en 1940 por Flemming Lassen. La silla fue diseñada por el maestro ebanista Jakob Kjær, quien fabricó los muebles de Flemming Lassen para la Exposición Anual de Mobiliario del Gremio de Carpinteros.
