The weave feels dense and substantial under my hand, which gives me confidence it will hold up on our large sofa. I was surprised by how much depth the mélange yarns add to the color when you look at it from different angles.
The three mélange yarns give this upholstery fabric a depth of color that looks more expensive than it is, and it handled my heavy dining chairs without sagging.
This fabric is surprisingly soft for wool, and the subtle three-yarn weave gives it a really rich, deep color. We used it to reupholster a large sofa and it handled the staple gun beautifully without any fraying.
